We want to welcome everyone to Raleigh, North Carolina to the Tar Heel Triple Classic! Join us for the thirteenth year of this sensational event. Two American Quarter Horse Association sanctioned circuits “bookend” The Little Futurity, one of the premier futurities of the horse show season.
The TTC kicks off with a four day horse show, sponsored by the North Carolina Quarter Horse Youth Association, featuring fun, friendship and lots of southern hospitality!
The fun begins with a Move-In Dinner on the evening of June 7th, and then on June 10th exhibitors will enjoy a barbeque dinner, compliments of the youth association, along with a DJ and Corn Hole Toss in the upper arena pavilion.
On Thursday and Friday, exhibitors will find shaved ice, popsicles and watermelon at the Snack Shak.
Busy? No time to wash that tail? No problem! The youth will be offering Tail Cleaning Services throughout the weekend.

Lastly, on June 10th, the youth are giving away random gifts and prizes including a Harris Saddle Bag and a Harris Bridle Bag.
The Youth Show offers of full schedule of AQHA and NSBA classes for all levels of exhibitor, including halter, showmanship, western pleasure, horsemanship, western riding, hunter under saddle, equitation, trail, ranch riding and reining.
On June 9th and 10th, a few miles to the south at the 11 Bar East Ranch in Sanford, NC, exhibitors and horses will gather to compete in Boxing, Working Cow Horse, Heading, Heeling, and, Tie-Down and Breakaway Roping; showing to nine judges in three separate goes.
The Little Futurity starts on Sunday, June 11th, with $8500 in prize money added to Trail Classes! During its thirteen year run, the Little Futurity has featured a full slate of Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Trail and Western Riding classes. What makes The Little Futurity so exciting is the constantly evolving line-up of classes designed to showcase the best the industry has to offer.
This year the Futurity wanted to do something BIG to draw world-caliber trainers, horses and exhibitors to Raleigh, NC. Exhibitors will compete on Tim Kimura-designed trail courses for the chance to win their share of $1,000 in Green Trail, $2500 in Non Pro Trail, $2500 in Junior Trail, and $2500 in Senior Trail. The Southern Oaks $1000 Novice Horse Western Pleasure slot class the evening of June 12th, and this year novice horses of any age can compete.

Novice Horse Hunter Under Saddle class, with additional inside purse for the Highest Placing Non Pro and the Highest Placing Limited Rider.
The Jamboree, NCQHA’s largest fundraising event of the year; will drive the Tar Heel Triple Classic to the finish line on June 11th, 15th and 16th. Exhibitors will show the same schedule of AQHA and NSBA classes as the Youth Show.
Six TTC bicycles will find new homes during random prize drawings.
A $25 entry fee is all that is needed to participate in one of two $500 stakes classes: Open Western Pleasure on June 14th and Open Hunter Under Saddle on June 15th.
